Robert Harward
Harward Custom Carpentry is comprised of the talented father and son team, Robert and Zack Harward.
Robert, a master carpenter, has been improving homes in the Triangle area and beyond for nearly four decades. It all began when his father, Bob Harward, a well-respected home builder in Apex, North Carolina started bringing his young son to the job site so he could keep an eye on him during the summers.

What appeared to just be a little boy endlessly banging nails into a scrap 2×4 turned into a lifelong passion for custom woodworking and perfection. Robert spent many years under the tutelage of his father before eventually going his own way and doing his own thing. His experience to date includes every possible trade involved in building a house – from start to finish. And then some!
These days Robert continues to hone his craft by way of building custom cabinets in the small cabinet shop at his New Hill, North Carolina home. He also has a life’s worth of tools and if the job is right, will travel when and wherever necessary. Other areas he currently focuses on include kitchen and bath remodels, casework, custom built-ins, trim and general interior carpentry & repairs.
